About the Workshop -
Now a days, the men & women, both share equal space in the working area. Still, As per the recent surveys, the so called ‘male dominant society’ creates difficult environment for their female colleagues. Even the major Corporate giants are no exception. Cases are being reported from large and small companies irrespective of a stringent law in place. Every other day a new challenge is being moved before the Courts in India. The relevant law is The Sexual Harassment of Woman at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act,2013 (the Act). Among other things, the Act mandates the dignity of women at workplace.
The said awareness can be implemented through systematic and regular training sessions to all the employees of the organisation including the higher management. Many a times, it is noticed that the lack of awareness is the reason for which the employer is not able to approach the skilled and trained resource person to provide the training or they are not able to spare their employees from the workplace to attend the training, due to the work exigencies.
We propose ‘The Two days’ workshop as on "Prevention of Sexual Harassment of women at Workplace”
As regards the Corporate, If one of their officers can be trained, they could conduct the training internally at it's convenience. This would avoid the issue of nominating employees in a group for the training being conducted through the external trainers.
